This no- frills subterranean den has been rolling off nights to sate every musical taste for quite a while now. DJs and live music are the main order or the day, but some of the more avant- garde promotions have surprises up their sleeves. Two years on, Alan McGee's Death Disco is still giving shaggy- haired White Stripe wannabes something to rock to, while Stu Patterson and Leo Elstob make sure those old enough to know better still miss work on Monday thanks to Sundaysonic. And fear not, Sloane- loathers, despite its location, Notting Hillbillies rarely join the crowd of musos and boozos.
