2012 Summer Olympics

Though most eyes are trained on the upcoming Beijing Olympics, you may want to plan to visit London sports venues that will host the 2012 Summer Olympics. These London sports venues will either be in the so-called Central Zone, the Olympic Zone, or the River Zone. All three zones are located within the Greater London area. Some of the places you could include in your itinerary as you visit London sports venues are The Royal Artillery Barracks and the O2 Arena.

Shooting

The Royal Artillery Barracks are to be used as the main venue for the sport of shooting during the upcoming 2012 Summer Olympics in London. However, the Royal Artillery Barracks are not planned to become a permanent facility for shooting exercises- rather, it will only host a temporary shooting hall facility. Once the 2012 Summer Olympics have been culminated, the permanent shooting hall will be established elsewhere within the United Kingdom.
